Hawaiian | Entryway

. . . . . . . .

A while ago my cousin, Rebecca, requested a Hawaiian themed entryway, and I finally got around to getting it done!   Rebecca is a fabulous Fine Art & Wedding Photographer based in Hawaii!

Be sure to check out Rebecca's website here:  www.rebeccakeizerstudios.com

. . . . . . . .

One style board with two different color ideas!  Perhaps use one for a front entrance and once for a back entrance, or additionally use one for laundry room/mudroom inspiration.

A few highlights:  I am loving Tassel Garlands these days and this one is no exception, I was glad to be able to sneak one into this board!  I absolutely adore the Kailua Contemporary Fine Art Painting, it's style and simple palette reminds me of a very famous contemporary Sacramento Fine Artist, Greg Kondos (whom I met at his show "A Touch of Blue" at the Crocker in Sacramento (see below)).  On the Peach Wall Style Board, the Pineapple Photograph is stunning!  And also loving the Number 5 Marquee and this classy way to tidy up shoes.

I have always wanted to do a "gallery wall", they are so hard to arrange, but I think I did a good job capturing the feeling of one in both of these boards!  What do you think?  Do you like the look of a "gallery wall?"

Thanks again, Rebecca, for the inspiration!

I'm doing links a little different today, they are listed at the end by item (not number).  Don't worry, all links are still there, for your convenience!!

Hope you enjoy this board and here's some music to get you in the mood:

Snakes Snails & Puppy Dog Tails, Baby Shower | Party Inspiration

Today I wanted to bring you some party inspiration!

What are little boys made of?
Snakes, and snails,
and puppy dog tails.
That's what little boys are made of.

This was one of my favorite ideas for a baby shower!  As you probably know, we waited to find out the gender of our baby...which meant that a boy specific shower wouldn't be possible.

I decided it would be fun to create an inspiration board for the theme anyway, because it's so cute!  This adorable and creative card on Etsy, pretty much inspired the whole idea.  You can use the teethers and toys as table decorations and for your baby!  Don't forget to include your fur babies in all the fun, have a special jar for treats just for them!!  Hope you enjoy this board and get inspired for you little man's baby shower!

Country Farmhouse | Laundry Room

A little Friday inspiration!

We want to re-do our laundry room/mudroom, and here's what I have come up with so far.
I LOVE the idea of a black wall, but since I don't want to commit to a large wall I thought trying it out in a smaller space would be a nice idea!

We already installed that Ikea Ceiling Track in our laundry room and hallway, what an improvement from the old ball lamps that used to be there.  I recommend the upgrade, it's well worth the cost!

We, of course, won't be getting to this re-design until the baby room is finished and after baby arrives, but it will be exciting when we finally are able to update it!!!
