Yellow Rose of Texas

Yellow Rose of Texas style board

Sorry I have been MIA lately, I've been over on the Studio Blog sharing behind the scenes of my life as a stay at home mom and an artist.  I am also in the process of building a new Concept Art/Fine Art portfolio, which I can't wait to share!

In the mean time I've got a bit of inspiration today that came from the song, The Yellow Rose of Texas.  Anyone else out there LOVE the color yellow?!  I'm a fan.  Loving the gorgeous Rifle Paper Co. wallpaper, and the original art, "Flowers for Becca" by Lulie Wallace (an artist who just had a new baby!).  Bronzes like this one can get so expensive, but I just adore them and wanted to throw one in - something like this could be a lot more practical.  The western designed ones work especially well in this southern themed room!  Wanted to throw in this adorable bonnet (below) and delightful mustard headband, but didn't have enough room.

Hope you're inspired & have a Happy Thanksgiving!
