Swiss Cross | Girls Bedroom

I love bright and eclectic rooms, and wanted to do a style board with some color pops!  This room has a lot of California inspired decor also!  I thought it would be a fun idea to paint the wall in thirds (1/3 or 2/3) or in half, as shown in these gorgeous rooms: {pink}, {blue} and {blue}.  I wanted to keep things colorful, so a soft purple was the color of choice, but you could play around with other ideas too, there are a lot of colors that would work here.  The yellow door inspiration came from {this image}.

I love the idea of a free standing mantle as decor (faux mantle) and was inspired {here}, {here}, and {here} and mostly below.  For the mantle portion of the style board, I did a "get the look" idea and was inspired by this image:

You could easily add {this crib}, or {this one} to make this into a baby room or a shared space!  You could even do a small DIY and purchase a Jenny Lind crib and paint it pink or another harmonizing color.

I LOVE how the board turned out, and hope this gives you some inspiration for your little one!!
